A PARKINSON'S sufferer who is cycling across Yorkshire will call at Keighley next week.

Leanne Owen is visiting every support group in the county during her 477-mile journey, which is publicising the work of charity Parkinson's UK.

Her epic trip coincides with Parkinson's Awareness Week.

Leanne is due to arrive at Town Hall Square in Keighley at 12.30pm on Tuesday.

She will be greeted by members of Keighley Parkinson's Support Group, who will then provide her with a motorised escort for the next stage of her journey to Bradford and Halifax.

The Keighley support group, which meets at the Healthy Living Centre in Scott Street on Monday afternoons, welcomes new members.
